Development of a new youth-focused category alongside director Ava Nirui. Products intended for young people interested in music, movies, art and streetwear, an assortment of collaborations with designers and institutions, musicians and limited-edition art projects, which are all unisex and tie into Marc’s long history of working with creative entities within the community. As well as these more limited edition projects, we are working on creating some non-collaborative Marc Jacobs product which is designed to appeal to kids who are fans of MJ, but either cannot afford or are not interested in the runway or mainline products. These entry price point items include tees, hoodies, sweatpants objects, and more, which all feature graphics that capture the pure anarchical energy that Marc Jacobs built his brand on, his ties to music/bands, New York and nostalgia.
